Topps Five Star Impresses

The 2012 incarnation of Topps Five Star has only been out for a couple of hours yet it’s already creating significant buzz among collectors. The design is gorgeous–Topps found a way to subtly improve on an already incredible design, the patches are juicier than the 2011 product, the rookie-patch-autos (RPAs) are breathtaking, and the boxes cost roughly 25% less than National Treasures ($450 compared to $600.) Here are a few boxes that have already been posted on the boards:
