Richard McWilliam, CEO of Upper Deck, Passes Away at 59

Whether you love or hate where Upper Deck is as a company today, there is no denying the impact Richard P. McWilliam has had on our hobby. He was an innovative thinker who pioneered many of the designs and technologies still used today by popular trading card companies. As of 2:30pm EST on January 7th, his cause of death was still uncertain but he had a history of heart disease.
